Wireless Mouse For Mac Without Usb

Hi, I bought a mac mini and it has only two USB 2.0 slots. It is the simplest one with neither wireless nor bluetooth support onboard. So I want to buy a USB wireless keyboard and mouse so than I can have one USB slot free. I don't want to get a USB hub. I have two questions: 1) When you want to boot from DVD-ROM in the mac mini you have to hold the 'C' key during the normal boot.
I bought a cheap USB keyboard and with mac mini it does not work but it works with all my other x86 linux boxes. So, the keyboard and mouse that I should buy must be MAC compatible? Is this a firmware problem since there. Hi, I bought a mac mini and it has only two USB 2.0 slots. It is the simplest one with neither wireless nor bluetooth support onboard. Id like to get a wireless keyboard and mouse for my MacBook Pro. Apple makes both for a combined price of about $130 or more.
I just wondered if there are any competitors of similar quality that are less expensive. What special features do wireless keyboards and mice offer, other than the fact that theyre wireless? One problem I have is the mouse Im currently using doesnt have a right-click function. />Also.should I wait until I get a wireless keyboard before I start learning keyboard shortcuts, or will the commands probably be pretty much the same? I was just concerned that I might get confused if I have to relearn all those shortcuts when I upgrade keyboards. Hi Guys, don't know if this is the right place to post this, but it looked about the best place.
I have a Creative Labs Wireless Desktop 6000 Keyboard and mouse. The mouse has started playing up, so I went out and bought a nice new Saitek GM3200 Laser Mouse. />Problem I didn't anticipate is because the Creative set uses a single receiver for the keyboard and mouse, I can't get the new mouse to work when the keyboard is plugged in.
I've been to device manager, and tried to disable the old mouse, and tried to disable and then re-enable the new mouse, and I get a message saying that there is not enough USB bandwidth. I once got a message saying that the mouse had 'been re-en.
