I just got a WD My Passport drive, 1TB. It's formatted for Windows NT. How should I re-format this for Mac 10.7.5? ExFAT for being able to write to it from Win 7 and OS X. I recently bought a passport for mac and it came formatted as mac os extended journal. So i figured that this might be caused by the fact that the hard drive is in a format thats not recognizable by windows 7, hence i decided to reformat the hard drive to EXFAT on my osx lion via disk utility. I'm having some trouble formatting my WD my passport in High Sierra.
