On a slide with bullet points, I want the bullet points to come up one at a time. No problem with the earlier version of PowerPoint. With the 2008 version, I can do bullet point by bullet point, but the other bullet points appear on the screen in a semi-transparent way, or with ghost letters, or with shadow letters. I've tried 'custom animation' and turning off Shadow on the palette, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

It was an embeddable font, and I successfully saved it as part of the PPT, so that it plays fine on PCs that do not have this Font installed in the OS.
