Outlook For Mac Plug Ins Salesforce

Oct 3, 2017 - As you can see in the image below, Salesforce for Outlook runs as a sidebar. Quicken for mac trial. (PC), however it is also available for Mac with the Outlook 2016 client. The sidebar plugin that runs with Lightning for Outlook will open in both.
Pardot has just released an add-in for Outlook 2013 (PC only). The add-in allows you to send tracked emails to prospects without leaving Outlook. Simply click the Send with PD button and any links in your email will automatically be tracked behind the scenes. This will provide valuable insight into any prospect clicks and subsequent activity that occur as a result of your message. See full details and download the add-in at our for full details. Unfortunately Outlook for Mac does not seem to support add-ins so we are unable to offer one on OS X at this time. If you use a Mac, we suggest using our plugins for Apple Mail, Gmail (Chrome), or Thunderbird.
Is there currently ANY solution that is able to integrate Outlook for Mac and Salesforce? We are a lending firm and we set up every loan as an Account in Salesforce, and our entire organization runs OS X. What we need is for every single email pertaining to a specific loan to be attached to the relevant Account in SF. Is something like this possible? We demoed MatchMyEmail, but that just made a huge mess. It uses the contact email address to figure out where the email should go.
As soon as we have one person with multiple loans, emails are thrown EVERYWHERE. We are currently on Professional, but we have absolutely no problem moving to Enterprise if that's what it takes to solve this issue. This is a Microsoft problem, not a Salesforce problem. There is no plugin framework/extension support for outlook 2011 on Mac. However, Office 2015 for Mac is rumored to be on the horizon, hopefully later this year.
SF isn't the only app wishing to hell MS didn't box outlook for Mac in like this. Your only options are as follows: • Email to Salesforce or equivalent message handler to stick mail to records programmatically. Has its own set of limitations. • A server-side integration tool like Riva: - will do everything you want, arguably better than SF for outlook on a PC. Is very expensive. You're not going to find anything in the outlook client itself, period, because it's closed off to third party developers.
[Salesforce employee here]. What version of Exchange are you on? At Dreamforce we announced support for the new Outlook/Exchange add-in model (Office 365 or Exchange 2013 on-premise).
These new add-ins work on Outlook 2013 (Windows), Outlook Web App (browser) and on the OWA iPhone/iPad/Droid apps. When the new Outlook for Mac comes they will likely work there as well (big TBD). This new add-in model is great as it has no software to install. In the interim (as others on the thread have mentioned) a 3rd party solution might be the best solution. Moving from PE to EE won't solve your problem unfortunately. Best midi file player for mac free.
We also have some direct Salesforce to Exchange integration coming (in pilot now) for Contacts/Events. This is server:server so no software install involved as well. Expect to see more from us on Outlook/Exchange integration as a result of our Microsoft alliance.
