Good afternoon, I understand how the situation can be confusing. To upgrade you simply need to purchase, and Install, Quicken 2015. As part of the install it will ask if you used a previous version of Quicken and if you tell it which one it will walk you through the conversion process. This should bring all your data over with no issues and, yes, your financial institution names will appear again. You can purchase the latest version of quicken from or shop around, as it is available at third party retailers.

Apr 23, 2018 - When Mac Quicken 2018 was announced as subscription only, I vented on Twitter. It's good that they're out from under Intuit's lack of interest in the Mac. So many functions are missing or awkward in these later versions.
