Any Way To Get Charter Email To Work With Outlook For Mac

If the recipient has a rule that moves your email from the inbox to another folder, the recall request will fail. Also, if the email is sent to a public inbox and the recall request is read by someone other than the intended individual recipient, the recall won’t work. That is the only way I could get it to work. I haven't had any problems doing that way. Meg42484 wrote: Is there anyone that can help me set up my Iphone with my charter.net email. I can not figure it out! Or is anyone else having a problem with it? One time I did get it to where I could receive emails, I just could not send them.
I bought 2016 Microsoft Home and Business full version specifically to get the Outlook 2010 to use for my email. To this date I have called Apple and Charter Communications (my email provider) and Microsoft which wouldn't support their product without charging me more money and no one can figure out why I can't send emails. I receive them just fine but cannot send. I've been to Charter's website, Apple support, Microsoft support, and google to try every configuration I could find and still can't get it to work. As always they are all playing the blame game. Can someone please help??
I use a Macbook Pro Laptop 2. Charter email 3. 2016 Microsoft Home and Business.
It is very unusual that using the same settings in Outlook as in Apple Mail do not work. The first thing to do is make sure your installation of Outlook is up to date. Go to the Outlook menu and choose About Outlook.
It should be 15.25 or higher. If it isn't, then go to the Help menu in Outlook and choose Check for Updates to launch AutoUpdate. Powerpoint for mac 2016.
Let AutoUpdate install updates and then try Outlook again. Reply with the result. I am an unpaid volunteer and do not work for Microsoft. 'Independent Advisors' work for contractors hired by Microsoft. 'Microsoft Agents' work for Microsoft Support.
I'm following up an earlier, now locked, discussion. With Spectrum input (I won't call it help), I have repeatedly tried to sync my charter.net email account to Outlook 2016 for Mac, with no success. The Spectrum agent blames the third party apps, Outlook and Apple Mail, where I have experienced similar problems. Spectrum offers IMAP and uses mobile.charter.net as the incoming and outgoing servers, with 993 and 587 as the ports. I can format all that in Outlook 2016 (although Apple Mail doesn't really provide as many opportunities to show ports). I can received email from www. **Removed**.com email website to myself on Outlook, but I cannot send email from my charter.net email account on Outlook even to myself, let alone others on gmail, etc.
This is ridiculous. I suspect Spectrum doesn't care that we're left to use other email platforms to communicate with the world, or even with ourselves. Hi BlueDuckBlueEyes, According to your description, I know you have trouble sending emails using charter.net account. I have checked the servers, ports you mentioned are correct.

Since you said it occurs on Outlook and Apple Mail, if it is possible, you can try to add another Charter.net account to Outlook using another Mac and check the issue. If the issue persists, the issue might be related to Charter. If you need further assistance, it is suggested to contact in-app support via Help > Contact support. We have dedicated team to help with issue related to Outlook for Mac. Regards, Carlos. Carlos, Thanks for your response.
The situation has changed although still mysterious. Spectrum must have done something so that now I can use this charter.net email account to send and receive emails from gmail, Aol and other platforms in addition to charter.net on the spectrum.net website AND on Apple Mail. But the charter.net account still doesn't work on Outlook 2016 for Mac, even though at one time, perhaps when Spectrum was using imap.charter.net instead of mobile.charter.net, that charter.net account worked fine on Outlook (2011 for Mac). I can program in all the data (account, password, incoming & ongoing servers, preferred ports), but in Outlook, while i now RECEIVE emails, I still cannot send any to any email address, charter.net or otherwise. At the bottom of the screen after I click 'send', the 'connecting to mobile.charter.net' fills with blue but never completes. It never connects.
